PRIVACY POLICY
Your information, handled with care.
Who we are
Freedot is an independent AI agency. This policy explains what information we collect through freedot.ca, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The person responsible for privacy at Freedot is our Founder. You can reach them at hello@freedot.ca.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us:
- Your name and email address
- The service you are interested in
- Your message, if you write one
The same applies if you email us directly. We do not ask for anything else, and we never buy information about you from anyone.
Why we collect it
To reply to you and talk about your project. That is all. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who helps us
A few trusted services help us run the website. They only get what they need to do their job:
- FormSubmit delivers the contact form to our inbox.
- Our email provider stores the messages we exchange with you.
- Our hosting provider runs the website.
- A privacy-friendly analytics tool counts visits to the site. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.
Some of these services may store information outside your country, including in the United States.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages for as long as we are talking with you or working together, and for a reasonable time after that for our records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you the information we have about you
- Correct it
- Delete it
Just email hello@freedot.ca. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the privacy authority where you live. In Canada, that is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Commission d’accès à l’information in Quebec.
Keeping it safe
The site uses a secure connection (HTTPS), and only Freedot can read the messages you send us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
